Ramid Namazov: Work done in IT sector under President's leadership based on Azerbaijan’s national interests

The identification of sources and motives behind the attack carried out by one of the world's most powerful cyber-espionage groups once again showed that activities based on national interests under the leadership of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev are being successfully implemented in the Information Technology (IT) sector as well, according to MP Ramid Namazov, Chairman of the Temporary Commission against Foreign Interference and Hybrid Threats at Azerbaijan’s Milli Majlis (Parliament).

Report informs that speaking at public discussions on "Cyberattacks on Azerbaijan's media outlets" when talking about attacks on several media outlets on February 20, Namazov said that after becoming familiar with the technical part of the report on measures taken against the attacks, one can once again witness that the state has made sufficient progress in this area:

"You can be assured that today our state is capable of repelling any threat regardless of its form, exposing those who carry it out, and preventing it."
