Prosecutor General's Offices of Azerbaijan, Vietnam ink Cooperation Program

The Prosecutor General's Offices of Azerbaijan and Vietnam have signed a Cooperation Program, Report informs.

According to the press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan, the document aims to strengthen legal ties and covers areas such as property restoration and environmental protection.

During a meeting between Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev and his Vietnamese counterpart, Nguyen Thien, the dynamic development of interstate relations, thanks to the efforts of the political leadership of both countries, was emphasized.

It was noted that, to strengthen ties with Vietnamese law enforcement agencies, a draft Treaty on Mutual Legal Assistance in Criminal Matters has already been prepared and is undergoing internal procedures.

The parties also agreed to develop cooperation in the areas of extradition, prosecutor training, and crime prevention.
