Media representatives first visited the accreditation center.
Adil Mammadov, Executive Director of the WUF13 Azerbaijan Operating Company, stated that the overall operational coverage area formed around the stadium and its surroundings, as the event venue comprises 53 hectares. Of this, 43 hectares are planned as the main event venue, and 10 hectares as the main transport terminal and park-and-transfer zone.
The stadium has been divided into respective zones. Zone A consists of 5 streets, each named after different cities of Azerbaijan.
Special zones have been allocated for high-level guests and delegations. Here, dedicated spaces have been designated for the reception of state and government representatives, bilateral meetings, a rest area, and catering services.
The event hall where the opening and closing ceremonies will be held can accommodate up to 6,000 participants. The zone hosting the forum's main discussions and parallel events covers an area of 3.55 hectares and is allocated for meeting halls, thematic sessions, UN events, parallel meetings, and bilateral negotiations. Conditions have been created here for the simultaneous holding of official and business meetings in various formats.
Journalists were informed that approximately up to 300 parallel sessions, meetings, and events are planned to be held daily during the forum.
It was noted that simultaneous interpretation will be provided at the event in the 6 official UN languages - Arabic, Chinese, English, French, Russian, and Spanish - as well as in Azerbaijani and Turkish. At the same time, international sign language services have been envisaged for persons with disabilities.
The operation of more than 35 catering points across the entire event area has been planned. These points are placed in venues and open-air zones, enabling the distribution of participant flow across various directions and ensuring service accessibility. It was reported that prices at cafes and restaurants within the WUF13 venue will be monitored.
Additionally, in a zone covering two hectares, alongside the "Media Center," "Roundtable," "Special Session," and "Dialogue Halls" have been set up. The "Media Center" includes a workspace, live broadcast and interview rooms, a press conference hall, TV studios, and a media rest area.
The total capacity of the "Media Center" is 600 people.
To ensure the event's uninterrupted internet, broadcasting, and digital operation needs, primary and backup data centers, large-scale fiber-optic and internal network infrastructure, wireless network equipment, and a continuously operating operations center have been established.
