I witnessed the humanity of Azerbaijanis when I was captured in the First Karabakh War, Robert Safaryan, Krabakh’s resident of Armenian descent, told Report’s correspondent.
According to him, when he was in captivity on the Azerbaijani side, he was treated well: “I love the people of Azerbaijan. It was meant to be. Sooner or later you would free your land. I don't need Iravan or Karabakh. To be honest, you are the owner of the land. I am a lonely person, I will go to Russia. I don't want to return to Khankandi again. No pressure is applied, we are checked normally.”
