More than 115,000 people attend WUF13 festivals across Azerbaijan

More than 115,000 people took part in WUF13 festivals held across various cities in Azerbaijan ahead of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum 13.

The events were organized in nine cities across the country to raise public awareness about the upcoming forum, the WUF13 Operating Company told Report.

The program consisted of two parts. During the first half of the day, universities in the participating cities hosted information sessions dedicated to WUF13. Participants were briefed on the forum's objectives, the principles of sustainable urban development, and Azerbaijan's priorities in the field of urbanization.

Public outdoor events were held later in the day.

According to the organizers, the events attracted strong interest from people of different age groups and helped raise public awareness of the principles behind building sustainable and inclusive cities.
