Former police officer Ilham Salmanov, who was injured by a mine in the territories liberated from occupation, urged people to take mine danger warnings seriously, Report informs.
He made the statement at a press conference on the results of the project "Creating Economic Opportunities for Mine Victims - Phase 3."
"I never imagined that I could be blown up by a mine, but it happened," Salmanov said.
He emphasized that a mine is an invisible enemy and called on people not to ignore danger warnings: "The threat of mines still exists, everyone must be extremely cautious."
