Khankandi to host international SocGov 2026 conference

In October 2026, Azerbaijan's Khankandi city will host the international conference entitled SocGov2026: Digital Analytics for Smart Governance, Report informs, citing the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.

The event will be organized by the DOST Agency (Agency for Sustainable and Operational Social Security) under the ministry. It is designed as a platform for international dialogue and cooperation in social governance, digital transformation, and innovative solutions.

The goal is to strengthen global collaboration and knowledge exchange in the social sphere, promote innovative technological solutions, and contribute to inclusive values.

Discussions will cover topics such as digital analytics, artificial intelligence, ethical governance, and data‑driven decision‑making.

Participants will include representatives of various countries, international organizations, innovation and technology stakeholders, experts, and researchers.

The program will include both competitions and individual awards that highlight innovation, social initiatives, and contributions to social development.

The first SocGov international conference was held last year in Baku, bringing together nearly 450 participants from international organizations and about 20 countries.
