On December 22, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran Hossein Amir-Abdollahian.
As Report informs, the president recalled his meeting with Iranian President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi in Ashgabat, noted that many issues related to further cooperation were discussed there, and Azerbaijani-Iranian friendly ties were once again confirmed.
Referring to the meeting between President Ilham Aliyev and President Seyyed Ebrahim Raisi in Ashgabat, the Iranian foreign minister called it a turning point in relations between the two countries.
During the conversation, the importance of continuing joint efforts to deepen cooperation in the political, economic, energy, transport, humanitarian, and other spheres was emphasized.
The meeting noted that the agenda of bilateral cooperation is extensive, and hopes for achieving good results were expressed.
