Fuad Muradov: Karabakh reconstruction could serve as model for many countries

The scale and pace of reconstruction projects being carried out in Karabakh could serve as an example for many countries around the world, Fuad Muradov, Chairman of the State Committee on Work with Diaspora, said at the opening ceremony of the 7th Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth, Report informs.

He said the Azerbaijani people are carrying out extensive reconstruction work in the territories liberated from occupation.

"We want you to come here, see these achievements with your own eyes, and be proud of what you witness and of the Azerbaijani people. Be proud that you have such a state and such a homeland. See how everyone working here-whether in agriculture, transport or technical fields-does their job with dedication and for the sake of future generations. Therefore, do not view this visit as an ordinary event. You are selected young people. This is already our seventh gathering, and we continue this project every year," Muradov said.

He also offered recommendations to the participants of the 7th Summer Camp of Diaspora Youth, encouraging them to regard the week's program not only as a summer camp or leisure activity but also as a school carrying a certain ideological responsibility.

Muradov stressed that no one can be forced in this regard.

"Our request is that you never forget Azerbaijan is located in a region that has always been complex and sensitive. Therefore, whenever black propaganda and disinformation campaigns are directed against our country, each of you should take an active stance within your own capabilities. We are not saying that you must address millions of people tomorrow. If you can, of course we would be very pleased. But at the very least, if unfounded claims against Azerbaijan are voiced in your city, university, school, neighborhood or among your friends, be among the first to defend the truth," he said.
