On the occasion of Eid al-Adha, food assistance was distributed to low-income families through an initiative led by Leyla Aliyeva, Vice President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder of the IDEA Public Union.
IDEA Public Union told Report that the latest phase of this charitable initiative—part of the ongoing social project "Our Kitchen"—was carried out in Baku’s Nizami district. As part of the effort, meat from sacrificial animals was delivered to 100 underprivileged families residing in the area.
The primary goal of the "Our Kitchen" project, launched by Leyla Aliyeva, is to foster a stronger sense of social solidarity. The initiative provides hot meals and food assistance to families in need. Since its inception, "Our Kitchen" volunteers have supported hundreds of thousands of individuals in Baku and nearby regions, bringing warmth and hope to their daily lives.
The project now has an official website, where individuals can make donations and sign up for volunteer opportunities.
