A project by ADA University aimed at the socio-economic reintegration of former internally displaced persons could serve as an example for other countries, Fariz Ismayilzada said during WUF13 in Baku.
According to him, ADA University conducts annual surveys among internally displaced persons in order to study their needs, preferences, professional skills, economic conditions, income levels, and family structures.
"This comprehensive research project has created a very important database for planning settlement patterns, road infrastructure, and the organization of public services. In my opinion, this experience has been highly successful and could serve as a useful example for other countries," he said.
