Elman Rustamov appointed to new position

Former Chairman of the Central Bank of Azerbaijan (CBA) Elman Rustamov has been appointed an adviser to Prime Minister Ali Asadov, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers told Report.
Elman Rustamov was relieved of his post as a member of the Central Bank by the decision of the Milli Majlis yesterday. He was relieved of his post as a member of the Board and also from the chairmanship of the CBA. Rustamov, who will turn 70 this year, has been the head of the Central Bank since January 1995.
