D-8 High-Level Dialogue on Energy and Urbanization opens at WUF13 in Baku

The High-Level Dialogue on Energy and Urbanization of the Developing Eight (D-8) has opened at the Azerbaijani pavilion at the Urban Expo, held as part of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku.

According to Report, the session, titled "Aligning the energy transition of sustainable cities with the urban development agenda in the D-8 region," brings together energy ministers from D-8 member states, alongside representatives of the architecture and urban planning sectors, as well as city mayors.

The dialogue is moderated by Gulshan Rzayeva, Deputy National Coordinator of WUF13 and Deputy Head of the Secretariat of Azerbaijan"s State Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture.

The event is serving as a platform for high-level discussions on urban development, environmental protection, and climate resilience in the context of sustainable cities.
