Armenia has not yet taken any steps to implement the 2015 judgment of the European Court of Human Rights in the case of Chiragov and Others v. Armenia, Elkhan Chiragov, a native of the Lachin district, told Report's correspondent on a business trip to the district.
According to Chiragov, the European Court recognized them as victims of this suit: "However, our rights have not yet been secured. We will continue the struggle to fully ensure the restoration of our violated rights."
Chiragov noted that he was happy and proud that he was able to come to his native village of Chiragli, Lachin district: "Today we are returning to the territories liberated from occupation. All this happened as a result of the glorious victory of the Azerbaijani army under the leadership of the President, Supreme Commander Ilham Aliyev. These lands were under occupation for almost 30 years, but were liberated in 44 days."
