Azerbaijani prosecutor general concludes visit to Singapore

A delegation led by Azerbaijan's Prosecutor General Kamran Aliyev has concluded its business trip to Singapore, where it participated in the 30th Annual Conference and General Meeting of the International Association of Prosecutors (IAP), Report informs, citing the Prosecutor General"s Office.
During the event, Kamran Aliyev was awarded a certificate of appreciation for successfully hosting the IAP"s 29th General Meeting in Baku last year.
A special session titled "Specialized Network on Economic Crimes and Asset Recovery" was held during the conference. It was moderated by Isfandiyar Hajiyev, a department head at the Anti-Corruption Directorate under the Prosecutor General"s Office. Deputy Prosecutor General Heydar Mammadov delivered a presentation on "Technology-based approaches in investigating economic crimes and asset recovery – The Azerbaijani experience," highlighting the country's use of AI and modern technology in tackling financial crimes.
Kamran Aliyev also held bilateral meetings with the heads of prosecution services from the UK, Saudi Arabia, Sweden, and Lithuania, as well as deputy prosecutors general from Malaysia and Brazil.
Azerbaijani Ambassador to Indonesia Ramil Rzayev, also attended the event.
