Azerbaijani president sets timeline for relocating residents to Zangilan

"Now a new era is beginning for Zangilan and the city's master plan is being prepared. A foreign company has won the competition and I think the master plan will be submitted in the coming months," President Ilham Aliyev told a meeting with public representatives of Zangilan District, Report informs.

The president said that a modern, very beautiful city would be built taking into account this natural beauty. The first smart village project on the liberated lands is being implemented namely in Zangilan District. Some houses are already ready and we will try to start relocating Zangilan residents to Zangilan early next year, maybe at the end of this year.
