Azerbaijani official urges responsible use of AI by youth

Young people should use artificial intelligence tools safely and responsibly, Nail Shukurov, head of the Department for Work with Youth Organizations at the Youth Foundation, said at the opening ceremony of the Artificial Intelligence Forum for Youth in Baku, Report informs.

According to him, artificial intelligence has already become a major force in the work of various sectors, especially in everyday life.

"It would not be true to say that all young people in the country fully use artificial intelligence tools. Young people living in the regions (of Azerbaijan), in particular, are still unaware of many of these artificial intelligence tools. One of the main goals is to take steps in this direction that can have a useful and sustainable impact," he said.

Shukurov noted that young people should use artificial intelligence tools and solutions safely, responsibly, and in line with the ethical principles of artificial intelligence.

"Sometimes, when there is an innovation, we focus more on using its negative aspects rather than its benefits. This also leads to consequences," he added.
