More than 90% of the 150 services provided by the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population of Azerbaijan have been converted to electronic format, and in recent years, the agency has provided 1.5 million proactive pension, benefit, and scholarship assignments, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population.
"The ministry's centralized electronic information system, consisting of 18 subsystems and four registers, operates in integration with the databases of approximately 80 agencies. One of the important achievements of the e-development program implemented in recent years in the provision of public social services has been the creation of mechanisms for proactively delivering these services," the agency noted.
It was noted that since 2019, the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Population has created more than 50 proactive services. As a result, pensions, benefits, and scholarships are assigned to citizens through the electronic system without the need for them to apply, collect, or submit documents. Over the past period, the ministry provided 1.5 million proactive services.
The ministry also noted that the e-sosial portal, as part of the transition of digital government services to a single, centralized system, was integrated into the MyGov platform and ceased operations completely on May 1. Thus, the ministry became the first government agency whose electronic services were fully integrated into the MyGov platform. Furthermore, the transition to the use of artificial intelligence technologies in social services has already begun.
