Azerbaijani President reveals who will be returned to liberated territories first

Azerbaijan has great work ahead - water, electricity, gas, roads, mines, houses, Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev told Russia's leading media outlets on February 23 at the TASS news agency, Report informs.

"We allocated $1.3 billion last year, and we have allocated the same amount for restoration work this year. The pilot project is underway, but it will take time. At the same time, in period of occupation, we were actively building houses for refugees, accommodating about 5-6 thousand families and about 30 thousand people every year. That is, about 70% of them live normally," the head of state said.

"We built houses in Baku, Sumgayit, Ganja, and many other cities. However, 30% of them still live in unsuitable buildings, dormitories, kindergartens, and difficult conditions. Therefore, first of all, people from this category will be returned," the Azerbaijani leader said.
