In 2022, 60,810 deaths were registered in Azerbaijan and the number of deaths per 1,000 people decreased from 7.7 to 6.0 compared to 2021, Report informs, citing the State Statistics Committee.
Thus, 1,925 people (3.2%) were aged 0-17, 6,387 (10.5%) - 18-49, 15,815 (26.0%) - 50-64, and 36,683 (60.3%) - 65 and older.
