Artesian wells to be drilled in Khojavend

Two subartesian wells will be drilled in Nargiztapa, Khojavend.

This is reflected in the order signed by President Ilham Aliyev "On additional measures to improve the supply of irrigation water to arable land in some regions and meet the needs of the population for drinking water."

According to the decree, 1.75 million manats will be allocated to the Azerbaijan Amelioration and Water Management OJSC for projection and drilling of 25 subartesian wells in 16 settlements of 5 districts with a population of 29,662 people to improve the supply of irrigation water to arable lands and backyards used for planting, as well as to meet the population's drinking water needs.
