Armenia plants mines in Azerbaijan's liberated territories

Armenia, encouraged by the absence of any pressure at the international level, continues to plant mines through sabotage groups in the territories of Azerbaijan recognized by the UN and currently liberated from occupation, the Commissioner for Human Rights (Ombudsman) of Azerbaijan Sabina Aliyeva said at the Baku International Conference of Ombudspersons and National Human Rights Institutions on the role of ombudsmen and national human rights institutions in business and human rights, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the Office of the Ombudsman, Report informs.

According to Sabina Aliyeva, even though an appeal was repeatedly submitted to international organizations, on behalf of the Azerbaijani Ombudsman, for the transfer of accurate maps of mined territories to Azerbaijan, the Armenian government, unfortunately, has not yet taken any steps in this direction.
