Anar Baghirov: No female court chairperson in Azerbaijan

There is not a single female court chairperson in Azerbaijan, Anar Baghirov, president of the Bar Association, said at an event on family relations in Azerbaijan, Report informs.
According to him, the number of women lawyers in Azerbaijan does not exceed 22%: "Why is this situation observed in Azerbaijan? However, female lawyers in all neighboring countries are more than 50%. Women must be promoted."
Bagirov said domestic violence cases still exist.
