ANAMA, GICHD ink Memorandum of Understanding

The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) and the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on providing support to mine clearance activities in the Republic of Azerbaijan, Report informs, citing ANAMA.
The MoU outlines cooperation in several areas, including strengthening ANAMA’s operational capacity, supporting strategic planning and public awareness on explosive ordnance hazards, implementing joint projects, exchanging knowledge and expertise—particularly on the links between humanitarian demining, environmental protection, and climate change—enhancing information management, and organizing training programs.
