31 marriages registered in Azerbaijan's prisons in 5 months

In January–May of 2026, 31 marriages were registered in correctional facilities under the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice of Azerbaijan, the ministry told Report.
The ministry also confirmed that between January 1, 2025, and June 1, 2026, six births were recorded at Correctional Facility No. 4.
Last year alone, 113 marriages were registered across Azerbaijan's penitentiary institutions.
