28 mass graves found in liberated territories of Azerbaijan up to date

To date, 28 mass graves have been discovered in the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation, where necessary excavations and exhumations of remains have been carried out, Eldar Samadov, Deputy Head of the Working Group of the State Commission on Prisoners of War, Missing Persons, and Hostages, said in an interview with Report.
According to him, during these excavations and exhumations, the remains of 218 people were uncovered.
"As a result of anatomical and molecular-genetic examinations, the identities of 60 of them have been established, and their remains have been handed over to their families," Samadov noted.
