K-Pop music festival held in Baku

On Friday, a K-Pop music festival took place at the Opera Hall of the Baku Music Academy.
According to Report, the event was organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Azerbaijan.
In his speech, South Korean Ambassador to Azerbaijan Kang Kymgu emphasized that K-Pop has evolved beyond a mere music genre to become a global cultural phenomenon, beloved worldwide.
He also noted that the enthusiasm and creativity of Azerbaijan"s younger generation have brought Baku and Seoul closer together.
This year, 24 teams applied to participate in the festival, and 6 successfully passed the qualifying round to reach the final.
