Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan discuss future of cultural cooperation

Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Culture Murad Huseynov and his Turkmen counterpart Nursahed Shirimov have discussed the prospects of cultural cooperation between the two countries, according to Report's correspondent in Turkmenistan.

At the meeting, the deputy ministers emphasized that the fraternal relations between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan must continue to develop in the cultural sphere, just as in other areas.

The sides highlighted the importance of deepening cooperation in the context of the ancient and rich cultural ties between the Azerbaijani and Turkmen peoples.

They also underlined the necessity of organizing mutual culture days, noting that such events would further strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two nations.
