Saadat Yusifova says Azerbaijan ranks 47th among 133 countries in creative industries

Azerbaijan ranked 47th among 133 countries in the Global Entertainment and Media Outlook for 2025 based on the share of cultural and creative industries in GDP, stated Deputy Minister of Culture Saadat Yusifova during the discussion titled "UNESCO Creative Cities Network and Sustainable Urban Development" held within the framework of the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13), Report informs.

According to her, international cooperation remains one of Azerbaijan's priority directions:

"In this context, cooperation with the UNESCO Creative Cities Network is of particular importance. The inclusion of Azerbaijan's city of Baku in the UNESCO Creative Cities Network in the field of Design, the city of Sheki in Crafts, and the city of Lankaran in Gastronomy is an indicator of the international recognition of our country's creative potential, cultural diversity, and its contribution to sustainable urban development."
