Culture of tea included in UNESCO's Intangible Heritage List

The culture of çay (tea) is included in the representative list of UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage.
Report informs that the nomination was accepted at the Seventeenth session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
It is the joint nomination of Azerbaijan and Turkiye: Culture of çay (tea), a symbol of identity, hospitality and social interaction.
