Berdimuhamedov: Turkmenistan committed to cooperation with Azerbaijan

Turkmenistan is committed to developing cooperation with brotherly Azerbaijan, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov said during a meeting with Azerbaijan's Minister of Culture Adil Karimli, who is visiting the country.

Berdimuhamedov expressed confidence that events within the framework of the Days of Azerbaijani Culture in Turkmenistan will make an important contribution to the development of cultural ties between the two countries.

Karimli, in turn, emphasized that Azerbaijan attaches special importance to developing relations with brotherly Turkmenistan and noted the role of mutual cultural days in strengthening ties.

The interlocutors noted that cooperation between the two countries is dynamically developing in political-diplomatic, trade-economic, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.

Berdimuhamedov recalled the successful holding of the Days of Turkmen Culture in Azerbaijan in October last year. He expressed confidence that shared historical and cultural heritage creates a solid foundation for further deepening interstate dialogue and reaffirmed Turkmenistan"s commitment to developing cooperation with brotherly Azerbaijan.
