Baku hosts concert program ahead of 3rd International Opera Festival

A concert program was showcased ahead of the 3rd International Opera Festival in Baku, Azerbaijan.

According to Report, the program featured performances by the festival's organizer, People's Artist Fidan Hajiyeva, along with many young professional soloists.

The soloists performed pieces from the repertoires of both local and foreign composers.

The festival, one of Azerbaijan's longest‑running opera projects, will take place from September 7 to December 7.

Within the framework of the project, a series of concerts will be organized not only in Baku and other Azerbaijani cities, but also abroad.

Several events of the three‑month festival are planned to be held at Azerbaijan's higher education institutions.

One of the festival's key directions is the project Young Voices Call to the Future, which aims to discover talented young Azerbaijani vocalists, expand their opportunities to perform on professional stages, and increase youth interest in opera art.
