Azerbaijani Culture Minister meets UNESCO General Conference president

Culture Minister of Azerbaijan Adil Karimli has met with President of UNESCO's 43rd General Conference and Bangladesh's Permanent Delegate to UNESCO Khondker M. Talha in Paris.

The Culture Ministry told Report that the meeting discussed cooperation within the framework of UNESCO's General Conference, priority issues on the international cultural and humanitarian agenda, and the promotion of multilateral dialogue within the organization.

Adil Karimli said Azerbaijan's cooperation with UNESCO is developing successfully and emphasized the importance of initiatives implemented within the organization.

The sides exchanged views on intercultural dialogue, the promotion of cultural diversity, the protection of intangible cultural heritage and the expansion of international cooperation.

The meeting took place in a spirit of mutual understanding and cooperation.
