Azerbaijan to produce films together with Turkey

Azerbaijan is interested in joint production of films with Turkey, Minister of Culture Anar Kerimov said at a press conference on “Ministry of Culture: goals and results of 2021,” Report informs.
Speaking about negotiations in this direction, the minister noted that films of joint Azerbaijani-Turkish production can be broadcast on Netflix.
Kerimov added that Netflix has expressed interest in cooperation with Azerbaijan, but there are certain standards that Azerbaijani films must meet: “When making films, these standards must be taken into account. Showing Azerbaijani films on Netflix is the country’s promotion. We need to make efforts for them to work with us. If we build trust, I’m sure they will work with us.”
