Adil Karimli to take part in UNESCO events

A delegation led by Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Adil Karimli has traveled to Paris to participate in events at UNESCO headquarters, Report informs referring to the Ministry of Culture.

During the visit, meetings are scheduled with UNESCO Director-General Khaled El-Enany, Chairman of the UNESCO Executive Board Nasser Bin Hamad Al Hinzab, President of the 43rd UNESCO General Conference Khondker Mohammad Talha, and senior officials of the organization.

The parties will discuss prospects for Azerbaijan-UNESCO cooperation, cultural heritage protection, and international cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

The delegation will also participate in an information session dedicated to the 7th World Forum on Intercultural Dialogue and the 11th session of the General Assembly of States Parties to the 2003 UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage.
