Adil Karimli: Azerbaijani culture widely represented in Turkmenistan

Relations between Azerbaijan and Turkmenistan are developing successfully in the cultural sphere, as in all other areas.

According to a Report correspondent from Turkmenistan, Azerbaijani Minister of Culture Adil Karimli made the statement at the opening of the "Pearls of Azerbaijani National Heritage" exhibition as part of the Azerbaijani Culture Days in Turkmenistan.

He noted that Azerbaijani culture is widely represented in Turkmenistan during the three-day events: "The program includes grand concerts, exhibitions, as well as discussions and conferences dedicated to Azerbaijani literature. Our goal is to present our Turkmen brothers with the most valuable examples of our rich cultural heritage."

Karimli emphasized that the Days of Azerbaijani Culture were being organized again after a long hiatus and that the events were held for the first time in two Turkmen cities – Ashgabat and Arkadag.

The minister noted that friendly and fraternal relations between the two countries are at a high level, and that cultural cooperation is also dynamically expanding and enriched by new projects.
