100th anniversary of First Turkology Congress to be marked at UNESCO HQ

An international event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the First Turkology Congress will be held at UNESCO headquarters in Paris, said Aktoty Raimkulova, President of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, Report informs.

Speaking at the plenary session titled "Turkic World as One Family: Activities of International Turkic Cooperation Organizations for Common Goals" held within the framework of "Turkic World Week" dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Turkology Congress in Baku, Raimkulova noted:

"By the end of this year, on the initiative of the Turkic Culture and Heritage Foundation, with the participation of Azerbaijan's Ministry of Culture, Permanent Representations of Turkic states to UNESCO, and Turkic cooperation organizations, an international event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the Congress is planned to be held at UNESCO headquarters in Paris."
