Ziyad Samadzade: Controversial issues exist in legislation regarding Competition Code

Baku. 15 September. REPORT.AZ/ "I have recently met with Presidential Administration official regarding development of the Competition Code. There are several controversial issues in the legislation on this Code, and very serious works underway in this direction".

Report informs, Chairman of the Milli Majlis Committee on Economic Policy, Industry and Entrepreneurship, Ziyad Samadzade said at the meeting of the committee.

The lawmaker said that the main controversial issue is whether relevant authority will be created in regard with adoption of the Competition Code: "There is a discussion about this issue. In my opinion, monitoring of the Strategic Road Map envisages acceleration of the adoption of the Competition Code".
