'We are interested in attracting foreign investors to Karabakh,' Minister Jabbarov says

The project of a 130-megawatt solar power plant in the Jabrayil district is moving to the implementation stage, Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov said in an interview with ITV, Report informs.

"We are interested in helping to attract foreign investors to the liberated territories," the minister said.

Jabbarov noted that foreign investors have already arrived in this area:

"Among these projects, I want to note the area of 'green energy'. A 130-megawatt solar power plant project in the Jabrayil region is moving to the implementation stage with the participation of BP and SOCAR. Moreover, contracts signed with Turkish companies in mining industry are being successfully implemented. A joint Azerbaijani-Turkish project called DOST Aqropark is also under implementation."
