US congressman briefed on Azerbaijan's investment opportunities

AZPROMO Executive Director Yusif Abdullayev and a delegation led by Abraham Hamadeh, a Republican member of the US House of Representatives, have discussed Azerbaijan's investment opportunities.

Report informs, citing AZPROMO (Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency), that Abdullayev provided information about Azerbaijan's business and investment environment, mechanisms to encourage foreign direct investment, AZPROMO's areas of activity, and the 2nd Azerbaijan International Investment Forum, scheduled to take place in September. He also highlighted prospects for cooperation.

The sides discussed Azerbaijan's transit potential, the possible involvement of US companies in investment projects in the country, technology and know-how transfer, the use of financial support instruments, and opportunities to expand business ties.
