Turkmenistan pavilion may open at Turkic Trade Center in Baku

A Memorandum of Understanding regarding the opening of Turkmenistan's pavilion at the Turkic Trade Center (TTC) in Baku will be signed soon, Director of the Center, Yilmaz Okuklu, told journalists, Report informs.

"A place has been allocated for the Turkmenistan pavilion at the TTC. As for Azerbaijan, the country will be represented in this pavilion by the Ministry of Economy, Small and Medium Business Development Agency (KOBIA), and Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO). I had a discussion with the Chairman of the Board of KOBIA, Orkhan Mammadov, about resolving this issue and creating a Working group related to it, and I asked for support. Generally, states are represented at the TTC within the framework of embassies," he emphasized.

According to Okuklu, the opening of trade pavilions of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Türkiye, and Uzbekistan at the TTC will make a great contribution to trade and economic relations among Turkic states.

"When visiting member countries of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), I have observed that we are unaware of each other. One of our goals is to increase trade turnover between member countries. If we strengthen trade relations with brotherly states, we will develop in various fields. Our integration into the world within the framework of the OTS would be better," Okuklu mentioned.
