Toghrul Abbasguliyev: Regional demand for Azerbaijani jewelry rising

Demand for Azerbaijani jewelry products is increasing in regional countries, Toghrul Abbasguliyev, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Jewelers Association, stated during the opening ceremony of the Azerbaijan Jewelry Show exhibition in Baku, Report informs.

According to him, alongside Azerbaijani companies, Turkish entrepreneurs and firms are also participating in the exhibition.

"In addition, buyers and visitors from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Russia, and Israel are expected to attend. Demand for Azerbaijani jewelry has grown in regional countries, supported by a professional jewelry school. As an association, we have an important mission ahead," the chairman noted.

Abbasguliyev emphasized that Azerbaijan preserves its jewelry school, national ornaments, patterns, and traditions: "Therefore, we attach special importance to the broad representation of Azerbaijani brands and 'Made in Azerbaijan' products at the exhibition."

He also pointed out that tax and customs concessions in recent years have had a positive impact on the sector.
