Russian companies keen on investing in Azerbaijan

Russian companies are interested in investing in Azerbaijan, Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation Denis Manturov told journalists.

According to him, Azerbaijan has a favorable geo-strategic position, which will reduce the cost of logistics.

Manturov noted that in order to continue the substantive dialogue, an agreement was reached on a meeting with Azerbaijani Minister of Economy Shahin Mustafayev in early July in Yekaterinburg, on the margins of the industrial forum.

“Russian companies participating in today's business forum intend to increase the volume of supplies to Azerbaijan. Along with this, there are companies that wish to set up joint ventures in the republic for the subsequent entry into the markets of the third countries," Manturov said.
