Retail trade in Nakhchivan exceeds 904M manats in 8 months

Retail trade turnover in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic amounted to 904.1 manats ($531.82 million) in January–August 2025, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee of Nakhchivan.

This marks a 3.8% increase compared to the same period last year.

Of the total trade volume, food products, beverages, and tobacco accounted for 464.7 million manats ($273.35 million), while non-food products made up 439.4 million manats ($258.47 million).

During the same period, the value of information and communication services increased by 13.4% year-on-year, reaching 25.57 million manats ($15.04 million). Mobile phone communication services accounted for 45.5% of this amount.
