Positive balance in Azerbaijan's foreign trade turnover shrinks

In January-September 2024, Azerbaijan conducted trade operations worth $34.498 billion with other countries, Report informs, citing the country's State Customs Committee.
This figure is 11.8% less year-on-year.
Of the foreign trade turnover, $19.855 billion accounted for exports, and $14.643 billion for imports. Thus, exports decreased by 25%, while imports increased by 16%.
As a result, a positive balance of $5.212 billion was created in foreign trade. This is 2.7 times less year-on-year.
