Pertaia: Despite pandemic, Georgia’s trade with Azerbaijan grew 16%

Georgian companies represented in Azerbaijan hold leading positions in Georgia, President of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry Giorgi Pertaia said during the Azerbaijan-Turkey-Georgia business forum in Baku, Report informs.
All three countries are working together to overcome the difficulties caused by the pandemic, he said.
Pertaia noted that in January-October this year, the trade turnover between Georgia and Azerbaijan increased by 16%, and the trade turnover between Georgia and Turkey rose by 30%.
The president of the Georgian Chamber of Commerce and Industry noted that this kind of forum will allow discussing cooperation in the medium and long term and bring the private sectors of the countries closer together.
