Number of Turkish firms intending to establish business in Karabakh revealed

Turkish companies have applied for 118 projects to establish businesses in the liberated territories, First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev said at the 6th Electoral General Assembly of the Public Union of Businessmen and Industrialists of Türkiye and Azerbaijan, Report informs.

According to Aliyev, the activity of Turkish investors in Azerbaijan’s liberated territories is increasing.

The deputy minister noted that the attraction of foreign capital continues for the renewal of existing infrastructure and construction of new ones for the efficient use of the alternative energy potential of Karabakh and East Zangazur economic regions: "Dost Agropark, which is the first private agricultural complex created in the Karabakh and Zangazur regions, is an example of joint cooperation in the liberated territories."

He added that Azerbaijan's favorable business and investment environment, concessions and incentives, as well as macroeconomic and financial stability, encourage the flow of direct foreign investments that bring high technology and knowledge to the country: "We invite entrepreneurs from the brotherly country to take advantage of Azerbaijan's rich economic potential and to be more active. I am confident that the projects, business investments, and joint initiatives we will implement based on mutually beneficial partnership will further expand our cooperation."
