Number of taxpayers in Azerbaijan up 7%

As of September 1 of this year, 87.5% of the 1,379,592 taxpayers were individuals, and 12.5% were legal entities and other organizations, Report informs, citing the State Tax Service under the Ministry of Economy.

Compared to the corresponding period of last year, the total number of taxpayers increased by 88,027 (6.8%), including the number of individuals by 73,616 (6.5% or 83.6% of the total increase), and the number of legal entities by 14,411 units (9.2% and or 16.4% of the total growth). The number of commercial institutions grew by 10% to 155,735 units.
