Natig Bakhishov: American business actively exploring investment opportunities in Azerbaijan

American companies are demonstrating significant interest and readiness to expand their presence and implement projects in Azerbaijan and the South Caucasus, Executive Director of the US-Azerbaijan Chamber of Commerce Natig Bakhishov said at the Second Azerbaijan International Investment Forum (AIIF 2026) in Baku, Report informs.

"We observe significant enthusiasm from American companies. This interest is not new - it has existed for a long time. Azerbaijan, as well as the entire region of Central Asia and the Caucasus, consistently remains in the focus of the US business community," the head of the chamber noted.

Bakhishov emphasized that the intensification of business activity in the region is largely facilitated by steadily developing trade and economic relations, as well as increased attention from the US government toward promoting the Middle Corridor and the South Caucasus.

"Representatives of our business community are increasingly submitting specific inquiries regarding prospects for capital allocation and joint investment. This includes projects in logistics, digital technologies, infrastructure development, and the application of innovative solutions. Governments across the region are currently fully open to adopting advanced Western and American technologies," Bakhishov stated.
