Minister: Turkish companies actively involved in restoration of liberated territories

Turkish companies are actively involved in the restoration and reconstruction of the Azerbaijani territories liberated from occupation, Economy Minister Mikayil Jabbarov said at the Azerbaijan-Türkiye Investment Forum in Baku, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the national leader of the Azerbaijani people Heydar Aliyev and the 100th anniversary of the Turkish Republic, Report informs.

He noted that in 2021-2023, $7 billion was allocated from the state budget for restoration work in these territories.

“Together with the private sector of Türkiye, various projects are being implemented in Karabakh and Eastern Zangazur, which play an important role in the economic development of the two countries,” the minister added.
